is this normal?

I am 38 years old and recently divorced. The last couple times I had sex (which was totally incredible) I had multiple orgasms. That is not the issue. The issue I have is that after the second orgasm my finger tips and the side of my face went completely numb. is this normal? after a while the feeling comes back.

This has never happened before. has this happened to anyone else?

It is possible that during sexual excitement where extra blood is flowing to the genital region, causing lower blood pressure in other areas, thus the numbness, the intensity of which increases with each orgasm.

It's no coincidence that you're suddenly experiencing amazing sex, multiple orgasms, and now for the first time, the numbness, which seems to a direct result of your new sexual experience.

There are plenty of reports from other women of dizzyness and numbness during/after orgasm. However it could be that you have low blood sugar, or maybe that you're hyperventilating.
Just to be on the safe side, see a doctor
