No sex for a long time and tight vagina
Is it possible that after a long time of not having sex a woman's vagina may close up or get tighter?
The vaginal entrance doesn't close completely but it does get smaller if not used for a long time. This is known as vaginal atrophy, akin to the weakening of any muscle which is neglected. The vagina needs regular use to stay in good condition - through masturbation with fingers, sex toys or stimulation from a partner. Atrophy is more common among older women, however it doesn't have to be this way. Sex continues well into old age for many women.
Neglect weakens the vagina and consequently intercourse sex may become uncomfortable or painful (dysparenia) and penetration may prove difficult.
So, to keep the vagina in shape, use it regularly - sex, masturbation, sex toys or fingers.
Also a highly recommended exercise for people of both sexes and all ages is kegel exercises - squeezing and releasing the pelvic floor muscle a few times each day.
Good luck...
